I started this thing where I’m talking out loud about my thoughts, reflections and who knows what else on ig stories ( it’s on the highlights: “let’s talk”) as an attempt to 1. Do something that scares me  2. I want to create more dialogue around the topics i work so close with my clients and students in a platform that reaches people everywhere 3. To show off my accent in both english and spanish, obviously.
As long as I can remember emotions were my language. First it came through contemporary dance. It was dancing that I could access a place of flow, connection, openess as if I could finally face what was deep there inside hiding. Slowly letting the wounds open to heal with movement and presence. And then later on, meditation and mindfulness tools came, giving me context to work with them. It wasn’t only about releasing but more about processing, fully understanding what my emotions are informing me. Exploring the field with curiosity and openess of the insight they bring. Being such a fundamental tool, I created this month’s class: On processing emotions to support your journey to understand the language of your emotions: what are they? how to identify? what are they telling you? and how to work with them. I believe this is where we start our journey of integration and expansion, when we give space to get closer to our emotions and to ourselves. More about this month’s class: Emotions are our compass. They inform us on what’s going on, how to integrate, how to heal. The strategies we’ve used for so long to either suppress or escape them just built more patterns, more repetition. In this class we’ll explore what emotions are and identify these strategies we put in place to avoid processing them and then see what’s behind that. We’ll understand how emotions help us to identify our shadow and learn how to process them using tools from mindfulness of emotions. Once we integrate more our emotions, we are more free to honor what we are, we have more choices and clarity in our journey. We get to know ourselves better.

More about THE EXPANSION PROGRAM: An online series of classes and meditations to help you go within and expand.
I spent a long time developing this program of classes and I'm really happy to put it out in the world, especially to anyone who's expressed the desire to work with me, access my meditations and to start on a path of self discovery with more support and tools. For this program I’m combining my training and studies on Contemplative Psychotherapy (Buddhist Psychology), Mindfulness and Meditation as well as Neuroscience Research and Spiritualism. We are using 5 Pillars to support our process: Awareness, Acceptance, Integration, Compassion and Flow. Through exploring concepts in a practical way using tools to help support your journey within, each monthly class will focus on a topic and will be a mix of concepts, practices and a guided meditation. You can access it from anywhere in the world and at anytime. Each class is $20. With all my love and gratitude.
